This video walks you through how simple it is to build a 3D space.  I am currently remodeling my kitchen within 3DVIA Shape which allows me to make critical decisions on cabinets, flooring, counter tops, colors.  It’s very simple to do.

Be sure you make the right decisions before you make a single purchase – visualize it in 3D.

See the following 3DVIA Shape Tutorials for more detail on how to build this:

#7 – How to use Existing Elements to Draw

#31 – How to Adjust Textures

#32 – How to manipulate similar textures

This is only part one….there’s more to this story, which I will show you next week…There’s a better way to truly visualize the new kitchen.

Here is my kitchen remodel design that I created in 3DVIA Shape for this video.

  1. That’s a nice kitchen! You can texture walls before you build them up, and it will be a lot faster than pulling them up and then texturing. You made a similar video a while back about how to make a 3d office with a 2d plan. That’s looking a lot like this one.

  2. A designer play a great role in featuring of a kitchen remodeling effort, also help to estimate total budget including material & labor cost. Really they help us alot in saving our cost.

  3. Also, when resizing the texture on the cabinets, you can resize them all at once by going to the texture tool and choose the same resize tool you choose, except, instead of clicking on every cabinet, click on the texture. This will resize all of them at once.
