If you are like me, and get jazzed about new technologies, especially 3D and Virtual Reality (VR), then you MUST check out these videos. Over 20 short videos (most under a minute) showing the latest new technologies in VR, hosted by one of the leading experts in VR, our own David Nahon. These were all taken at Laval Virtual, an annual Virtual Reality show held in France. I MUST go next year!

Many of the VR technologies used were developed with 3DVIA Virtools.

Although it may not be the Holodeck on the Enterprise just yet, Virtual Reality is about as close as you can get. Virtual Reality represents one of the coolest areas of the 3DVIA product line and it will be on full display at the center of the VR world in this year’s Laval Virtual Reality International Conference in France, April 22nd-24th.

Living La Vida Virtusphere – Great 3D Virtual Reality Video

Here is a little bit of 3D eye candy for a Friday afternoon that I am sending out to all of the VR fans of the world. This is a 3D walk-through of a building using a “Virtusphere” and our very own 3DVIA Virtools technology. The video is part of the V+R Challenge currently running on Facebook. Have you created your own personal 3D Avatar yet?

Even though it looks a bit like a hamster ball…I want one! Mehdi from the Paris office, also in the first part of the video, gets to work with the coolest part of the business. I’m trying to rationalize installing the system for our office but have not justified the cost yet. Mehdi – can you ship that over here to the states?
