Cool!
We have an image based modeling group here to explore this topic. can you add your model to that group?
Oops…I forgot to make it public. The final (quick) office phone model is
here
Thanks for the reminder.
In my scene “Redneck Entertainment Center”, the remote control and some other itens were created from pictures in the same manner. I am gon=ing to have to give that a whirl in Shape. Thanks for the video :-)
Thanks Omind…Nice addition of the dogs playin’ cards – never seen that one before . ;^)
lol!
that was bostondave?!
Good eyes!
This video was on youtube before here and I saw Boston Dave he shows up 3 times in the backround above cliff.
You’re too funny tomy! I had to watch the video again to find BostonDave the first time. The third head isn’t BostonDave, which you can tell for ummm, hirsute reasons. The last person, in the lab coat, is Ian. He seems to be everywhere. :)
If you subscribe to the 3DVIA YouTube Channel, you may see early versions of the final videos before they’re released on the site. Cliff uploads them there and we all make comments before final edits and release. It kinda’ like a pre-screening for those of you who catch them!
oh no!!
that was 3.1!!!
Don’t worry sady – 3.1 is mainly a group of worthwhile bug fixes and improvements to existing tools. There aren’t any huge changes or new tools. It’s being thoroughly tested now.

Kerchow, Lightning Mcqueen.
oops sorry dodgy link.
try this
Cliff will be thrilled that his video inspired you to go right out and try it! I already saw your model, so I’ll put my comments there.
Everyone should follow the link!
Very nice! Keep them coming.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually taken pictures with a camera. It’s either Shape’s photos or internet (Google/Altavista).
