We are constantly working on the site, and a week doesn’t go by when we don’t fix, upgrade or add something to the website and our tools.   But sometimes we do things that you, our members, have been wanting for a while, or we add something thats so spectacular, we can’t wait to share it!   So this will be the first of many posts enumerating some of the great new things on 3DVIA.com.

This first post will be a combination recap and new additions, here we go!

New Tools!

Fast Model Search – We’ve integrated Cool Iris into our 3D Model Search.  Now you can browse through our giant 3D Library at speeds unheard off!

Support Forums – In case you missed it, 3DVIA now proudly hosts the 3DVIA Support Forums. Ask questions, get answers.  This section has seen many improvements since launch but coming soon is FILE ATTACHMENTS!  I can’t wait!  We’ve also added the latest 5 posts to the bottom of the Blog Page, so you can head directly over there after you read this post.

- Social Networking -  We’ve added popular social network portals to our site, so you can enjoy and talk about 3DVIA anywhere! Join the 3DVIA community portals in Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr on our Homepage, Blog and Newsletter!

-3DVIA Store – The 3DVIA Store has been launched, with many ready to use quality models at really low prices! If you haven’t been by, check out some cars!

New Updates!

- Model Upload Limit Increased -  Cheer and rejoice!  The upload limit on models has been increased from 11 MB to 25 MB!!   This is fantastic news for all of us.  As our skills improve, so do our ambitions, and this increased limit will let us build models twice as complex as before!

- User Profile Updates – We’ve exposed the Description field in your profile so people can now know a little bit more about you when they check out your profile.  We’ve also added a forward and back arrow to your Models section on your My 3DVIA page so it’s easier to see more than just those 4 models.
