WOW!!!!
I must say that this is the hardest challenge at 3DVIA so far oO
so it’s gonna be the most amazing =D
I started modeling Optimus, its not that hard, this challenge lets you choose your level of detail. The cartoon Transformers are very very simple geometry and they look great.
Defining Classic Transformers: Any transformer that appeared in the Cartoon TV Series or if you want a challenge, any Transformer from the product line. No Transformers from the movies, since they are in thousands of parts :)
I’ll show you my Optimus soon :)
can’t we create our own transformer ?
eee….?
No custom bots?
Doh!
We want custom bots! Not copies from tv show!
Who am I to bar creativity, if you want to design your own Autobot or Decepticon, by all means, please do so :)
If you need help with refferences here’s what I did.
Go to google images search and search for Classic Transformers.
Pick the one that you like, then search for it by name. For examples if I like Optimus Prime, I would do a google images search for Classic Optimus Prime.
can’t you change the prize?the ipod is kinda old
and could i send my father’s details about mail and others?just like is his account.i wanna know this for future challenges
ok,i did something bad?maybe yes,but why no one is answering me?!i asked the same thing last time, and still nothing
You can still participate and win the challenge, but I have to abide by the legal department when it comes to handing out prizes. I will definitly look into a diffrent award for the prizes though, and I’ll take suggestions from the community :)
This is going to be so much fun to follow!
I heard the new movie was crap, but this contest looks fun!
wow a nice coincidence. I was just started work on my Warpath model in blender. I’ll be entering with glee
Glee is always good! Haven’t seen that wonderful word used much lately – thanks for reminding me to be gleeful :)
just out of curiosity, how can you afford to just give away ipods and the like? i won’t be entering this time (probably) but if the subject gets more to my liking then i will enter for sure. last thing, if someone does win and is under 18, surely there is no legal way of winning the prize???
In the overall budget, the prizes are a small cost, especially when compared with the satisfaction of the winner.
As far as the age questions, see my comment on your next question. :)
just saw the entry rules, no entry for me… why aren’t you allowed to enter if you are under 18?
Simple answer – Dassault Systemes’ legal team required it.
Be imaginative, be creative, look back over comments from previous Challenges to see other comments on the same subject. Look for hints.
