Hey Gaspo, we welcome all kinds of formats :)
For DCC applications like 3D Max and Maya, I recomend Feeling Software's Collada Dae exporter for Max. You can find their website here.

I also wrote a blog recently that you may find useful, all about exporting from Max and Maya and into 3DVIA.com. You can read that here.

I'm far less familiar with Iges, Step and stl formats, but we do have a 3DVIA TV video about them. You can watch that here.

Let me know if I can assist in any way :)

Hi!
I have a question,
In what kind of format have to be the archive? for example, if I upload a .max or .iges or .stl or something like this, will it work?
thanks a lot!

Just note that the site doesn't except the .max file format natively. You will need to upload your file in collada, 3ds, obj, or another format that Max can export and 3DVIA can read. See this chart for more info: http://www.3dvia.com/help/authoring_softwares_table.php

Oh I think everyone should participate, from 3 years old to 92, You can still win, and be the champion, and have your name all over the website and an email telling almost 60,000 of your fellow modelers that you are the champion!

Its just that those legal types tell us not to give an iPod to our younger crowd :)

As long as you upload it here on 3DVIA with the proper tag you can model in any tool you like!

(And you must be at least 18 years old to win the prize.)
