Awesome model and one my favorite WW2 planes. Nice work :-)
WilliamT from Google warehouse gets all the credit for the model. I just found it and added it here because it’s more interesting than the warehouse. I can zoom in on it and get some screen shots if I want. That’s why I added the YouTube link too. P-38’s are one of my favorites too, and I love to hear and see them in action.
I also added it to smike’s airplane group, so like-minded folks can find it easily.
yep
william t is the best airplaine modeller on 3d warehouse and has made one h…. of a collection of aircrafts..
i think that his propblem must be to find a aircraft he has not made…
i havent seen just one of his models there can be critizes and he has won many of the airplaine contest made at 3d warehouse…
Thanks smike, for the background on WilliamT. I just stumbled onto his excellent models and am glad that he has modeled so many of my favorites!
Hi There. I love your model. My father flew one of these in Italy in 1944.
Problem is that I can’t open this file. I can do 3ds and OBJ formats. I’m using Bryce 3d, ( old software ) and DAZ. Any suggestions? Thanks.
isaacmiller1993 is an expert at DAZ studio, maybe you should ask him.
wanderinjohn – You might be able to download the original skp file from the warehouse, open it in the free version of SketchUp, export it as a kmz, download the kmz, change the .kmz to .zip and unzip the kmz file which contains a dae file. You might be able to import that to Bryce or DAZ – I don’t use either one.
That’s a lot of steps, but it might work.
