If you want to see the full CAD model, go to my web site http://eiffel-tower-catia.com/default.aspx , you will have all the information about how I rebuilt it from the original drawings. What I could upload here is a fraction of what is really behind. 95% of th structure are modeled.I have looked at your model but they don't really have the same level of details obviously. I was trying to be very very close to the original idea. If you can , download the full tower in 3dcomposer format from my web site, this is a much better viewer than 3dvia or 3dxml, and you will have a very smooth navigation.

I took a look at the model that you have for download from your web site. It looks very nice. I think your version embodies more of the original design and mine is modeled more after the up to date version with all the safety glass and modern features. I would have added more detail to it but I ran out of time and had to enter it into the 3dvia challenge but now I have lost all ambition to finish it. lol It is cool to see how things change over time. I guess if there were no lawyers with their personal injury suits, the Eiffel tower would still look the same as it did when it was built. lol I'm sure there have been many upgrades and restorations to the tower over the decades. Nice work.
