Yeah I sure know printscreen well so, does it look like what you made or were parts of it modified when you used printsreen?
actually what is missing is all the colors from the original model. since it is something like an army truck, it is not very colorful, but still the bricks have different colors in LegoDisgner 2 (which is the LEGO software for building models). Is there an option t modify somthing, after using printscreen. it only loads in 3DXML player and that’s it. I run printscreen on 64bit XP, maybe that is the reason why some things simply don’t work (like capturing from a 64bit program).. Any help is greatly appreciated :)
looks fun
Does the program use OpenGL or DirectX? I’ve found that DirectX sometimes turns out black in printscreen.
Hi Tomy, as far as I know it used openGL (see: http://ldd.lego.com/download/default.aspx) this is where you can download. Btw: Here is the link to the gallery: http://factory.lego.com/MyFactory/default.aspx
there you can see how the model shall look and you can download the models to load into Lego Digital Designer (LDD).
Look for user: Alfredox (watch the O, Alfredix was in use already :) )
I still think that it is a problem of the 64bit OS, either for LDD or printScreen. Until I find a solution, we’ll just get black models (I like black anyways :))
Have you got printscreen 2.3 Have you tried clicking on the model? I don’t think I have a program for it.
By the way, the building folding bridge model, that is a cool one!
Here is another thing! From cars, when I printscreened, there was a white layer around all the cars. Maybe there is a black layer around your model?
Hi Tomy, yes it is printscreen 2.3. What program do I use to modify the output (3DXML) from printscreen. I can only watch the model in 3DXML Player. there is no EDIT option.
Yes but there is a button for erase.
If you go to the top of the screen, there will be a yellow eraser. Click on that then click on what to erase. More information at “http://www.3ds.com/products/3dvia/3d-xml/player/usage-overview/”.
hi Tomy, I am sorry, I think i am too stupid. in my player there is no earaser. and the link you sent just talkes about the buttons I have and ther is only hide/unhide
