This is a 1:35 scale model of a 20ft ISO container, like it is used to transport goods on ships or Trucks. you might notice that there is a major difference compared to reality: this container is modular built. I did this model in Pro/E WF4 as part of a so called “Family table” (SW user know this as “configuration”). In Pro/E you can choose from 5ft to 40ft container in 5ft steps. Also the frame for this container is made from a standard profile system that I designed. In reality the main beams go from front to back without interuptions (usually I-beams or T-beams). Well I think my container would not be able to carry a lot of load before it just breaks in two halfs. But hey, it’s my world :)
Another thing I would like to point out: It took more than an hour for 3DVia to process that model. quite unusaul if you look at file size or number of surface, Triangles, vertics etc.

Thanks for being patient while it processed! Sometimes the processing line is long due to heavy traffic or if a lot of big models are in the queue.

Now we all have someplace to hide things in our Shape models. :)

this is one thing I find sooo cool here, you can go into the models and looks around or outside. I must admit I have never been inside the container before.

Hey, any present that is hidden inside is truly welcome :)
