… is a security buidling, that is used as entrance to other buildings. Inside you can see some furniture and equipment, how it could look like in a security building. Since STEP is not dealing with textures, you can see only plain colored surfaces. Maybe that’s good, becasue it is the first time I really played with textures :)

Hello alfredix: With textures or without them, it continues being good. Somehow, without textures, you leave “one more door opened for the imagination” of other modellers / designers.

Btw: Haven’t heard from you for quite some time. Have you been busy? How are the Bedracows? any newcomers in their family soon? I would love to see more of them :)
Fortunately or misfortune I have a lot of free time, perhaps too much. :( At present I am not designing, but I continue closely 3dvia :)
@alfredix and mastic – You are both master modelers and each of you has developed a sensitive style of color and value over time. You understand that the use of color is incredibly important and depends on the story you are trying to tell.
@ mastic – One of the reasons i enjoy your models so much is because of your restrained and refined use of color. You understand that not everything has to have a color or texture applied and that the viewer’s imagination is ready to help you fill in the details.
It is great to come to 3DVIA and see so many different ways of approaching 3D modeling. Little by little, we all learn and absorb from each other just by seeing the results. It’s really fabulous!

I agree with Don. Mastic’s models have their own range of colors, that makes them so beautiful (Besides the fact, that they are “Shape modeling at its best”. I think it was Don who posted: A workout for Catia…”, for sure it is!)
Nevertheless I am a bid sad, that I can’t get any textures to 3DVia, because there are small details in this house, that is only seen with the textures, like the “red cross” on the first aid box on the wall above the fire extinguisher (ahhh that’s what it is… :) ), the black box on the desk, which is a keyboard and the text on the sheet of the opened file folder … and so son.
But I am glad you all like it and some details are shown in my wealbum :)
@Mastic : Good luck Mastic, I can imagine where your free time comes from…
