This is a 1:35 scale model of The Leopard-1 based “Panzerschnellbrücke Biber” (in english: Bridgelayer tank Beaver).
it is based on a Leopard-1 drivetrain and chassis.
If you want to know more about the Biber checke the following links.
I find this one especially interesting, because it shows a RC “toy” of that tank with fully functional bridge.

PS: Maybe its my fault, but the description of the model does not work, that’s why I put my comment here. Description is saving and saving and saving, but my comments won’t be in. Anybody with the same experience. (not the first time for me…)

5 Stars! Fantastic detail and the video links really help tell the story. :)
PS – I sent a support message to hopefully move along fixing the description problem.

Thanks Abu_roadking and Shannon.
@Shannon: They started delivery in 1973 to the German Bundeswehr. It is still in service, but there is a substitution process ongoing. The new tank is based on the Leopard 2.

Hi Shannon, I like the Abrams from the look :) If you trust the reports that you find on the web, then the Abrams is not a success. Too many problems, too much of fuel consumption, not effective enough. In comparison to the Leopard 2, the Abrams looses in many categories.
Never the less, both tanks are on my list :)
