Well, you can make pretty cool models in shape, but you only have two preset shapes to model with-square and circle. It also has a draw tool to draw shapes with, but the lines can go into many angles if you are just trying to draw a shape in mid air. There is another tool, not much better than draw, called arch. Then, after you had a flat shape, you may push and pull it, so if you had a square, you could make it into a cube. So with only square and circle, this model MAY have been hard to make, don’t you think?

Automobiles and consumer products in general have lots of compound surfaces and tricky bits that are hard to model and are often necessary to give them the realism that the viewer wants.
3DVIA Shape does not have (yet – stay tuned in the very near future for a complete reversal of this statement!!) to model those compound surfaces. That makes this a very nice model indeed!
Great job alexyoung!

Really a good job considering the fact that this beauty was made in 3DVIA Shape… waiting for a better paint-job ;-)
Is 3dvia shape really that hard to work in?

Yes, great job!
This is a truly impressive model, considering the limitations.
