Great job! It makes me want to go jump in the car and go on a road trip! The realistically sparse vegetation is really funny :)

I have a Lightning Mcqueen model on my computer somewhere, but the eye texture didn’t come out properly. In fact, that’s what gave Mvcomputers the ideas for his Cars, he told me he would do me a favor and make another Lightning Mcqueen for me.

In Cars, it’s actually called “Ornament Valley.”

You are right abu_roadking, I did miss the cobra! Thank goodness, they make me queasy. I spent a fair amount of time in the desert when I was a kid – if there were cobras around I probably would have stayed in the car. :D

McQueen makes a good addition. A little traffic brings more life to the scene :)

hey smike… i didn’t realise until now that the scary snake was your creation :) and thanks for the kind words…

as don usually says “you do the hard work, i just put them up here (on Top10)”…

on similar lines i can make a similar statement…. “the individual creators did the fine job, great infact, i just play around and use them to get to the Top10s” hehehe…

jokes apart… it’s the individual models here that make up the great scene… without the tools and means (3DVIA Shape) and the resourses (Library and all those lovely ‘shared’ models), something like this is simply impossible… even if i have ideas, i can’t build the scene until the building blocks are in place :)

So i must congratulate all the contirbutors in this particular Top10… prolithic, MoabUT, Smike, mgbaron, Romain, StephaneV, mdigregorio, wirecase for their creations… Don, tomy and sady for the other models that they shared even if they did not created them…

And Don, it’s not just we who do a good job and hard work… you too do a great job of bringing this weekly feature of 3DVIA to encourage other modelers!!!

@abu-roadking – I agree with you that the best part of 3DVIA Shape is that you can combine models so easily to tell your story! You do probably the best job on the site of using that to your advantage and are constantly pushing how to do it! That is fabulous.

Giving credit to the other modelers is something that I usually forget to do when I make a scene because I’m having so much fun! Good job for giving credit here.

Thank you for the kind words too :D 3D rules, some people just don’t know it yet…
