One of the most expensive and luxurious hotels of the world!!!
Still “in work” have to work on the textures and few details like
1. White Roll Royce limousines & few exotics on the driveway!!!
2. One of Smike’s choppers on the helipad (mabbe Trump variant :))
3. Palms and Fountain at the entrance… and many such fine details…
Would be a great help if some one could upload white Rolls & a couple of yachts… couldn’t find them in 3DVia library.
Comments & Suggestions welcome as always,
Abu

whaou, 16 Million triangles….
Yikes!!! Great model, but it bogs my computer down so much that I can’t enjoy all the details. I guess I’ll have to take my chopper over and see the real thing :D.
Really? Works fine on my computer.
But you are right, lots of triangles.
realy tomy? what kind of computer do you have? my pc can run crysis at very high settings no problem, but this 3d model and its 23 million vertices runs horribly in the virtools player. I can hardly view the model its so hard to move around. Great model by the way, realy love that building. I know someone that stayed there once. Dubai has so many realy cool looking buildings.
the system does not respond very well on this variant… that’s basically because of models that i’ve added from the 3dvia (few of them have stupendous number of triangles [detailing])
you can have a look at same burj model without the other models and this one does not blog-down your system… http://www.3dvia.com/abu_roadking/models/9651B98C9EB08294
another way of enjoying the present model is downloading it and then viewing in 3dxml player that’s available on the 3ds.com site (this one’s different from the Virtools player available on 3dvia.com )
Cool, good thinking to post the lower polygon version of the model, i can enjoy the model a lot more when it runs well. I have a lot of trouble navigating the view in the 3dxml player, as well as in 3dvia shape, so i dont use them much(I always get messed up with the rotate tool leading into the zoom tool, is there any way to change that?). The model does run a lot better in the 3dxml player though.
