since its already not usable in 3DVIA Shape, why don’t you utilize the unused space/size to texture this beauty??? i’m sure you can accommodate the textures within 10mb size…

and i think those things rather have fiber-wire and a LED inside.the fiber takes the light and releases it at the end of the wire,but that would be a work more.

Hmm!! I will try to texture it lets keep our finger crossed so that it should not go beyond 10mb

if not,erase all the non-visible polygons as the interior rims on the wheel and anything that you can’t see from outside

yes.. that helps most of the times… cleaning up the surfaces which are not visible from outside….

I agree, even some simple colors would be a big help. I’ll hold off on tating it until maybe you do some more, since I only get one shot at giving you stars.

Keep your images under 1024×768 this often works hope this helps!

@billybobuse – your guess is more or less correct but I have not detailed it. This model is a simple showpiece that you can place in your home & make others jealous :)

well lots of advices taken into account to finish this model.

@Abu – Yes I have utilized all space that I can to complete texturing. size is around 10mb (can’t believe my own eye)

@Tomy – reduce size of most of the textures to fit in this model

@sady – some of the non visible portions deleted. Sady people did not rate as the texturing is not completed so most of the visitors kept their vote saved for better rating (hope so). I am glad you rated it first.

Google is a big help. Spent around 3 hours to find textures. Lots of trial & error made before final presentation. Hope you like it :) Model is now finished so please rate this.

Sady I just repositioned the model. At start You can see the back portion first. I want to highlight the big golden flower at back side, so placed the model accordingly. Once you start 3dplayer you will see the seat in the front.

You are correct Don. Completion of this model with final textures give me more pleasures than the ratings :) Its a satisfaction of an artist with his creation..to be able to show others what he can see….

the colors are not to my liking… so i did rate 4 stars… nevertheless it is a good model and surely a good effort with Shape…

and as you rightly said… seeing a completed model is far more satisfying than ratings…

i too have encountered low rating on few of my models… even i would appreciate if people who rate the models low, add comments describing what parts need to be improved…

@sady – I finally learned my lesson and have held off on making a rating until I’m sure that the creator is finished. Many times i have wished I could up an earlier rating when the creator has done extra work in response to comments!
