Sound Of Purity V2 - Expression Of Freedom

Sound Of Purity V2: This is my second model of this series.

This model is also very conceptual. If you want something you never had, do something you have never done. Don’t go the way life takes you. Take the life the way you go. And remember you are born to live and not living because you are born.

This model describes the spirit of freedom. Three fishes were stuck in a small bottle until one day one of them decides to go all the way, to do whatever it takes to achieve its freedom. So It takes a deep breathe & jump high to touch the sky above, it finally felt the joy of freedom. The jump it makes take it to a big bowl with enough free space to enjoy. If the small fish can get its freedom why can’t we?

well,i guess that’s the texture me and don used in ‘water glass’ and ‘playing with balls’
i admit that texture is very useful

Yes sady you are correct one of the texture I used is taken from your water glass model but I seriously think there is some problem in 3d palyer with glass texture as it doesnt look so well as I can view in 3dvia shape..don’t know why..it seems flickering / disappearing from view….

5 Stars! Excellent story and allegory. Beautiful modeling, especially the water droplets. You’re right, there are a lot of odd things going on with the textures in your model. Some is Z fighting and some is the textures themselves.

do not listen the maggot above me
never keep it so,but be better all the time
because this is the process-evolution
we all learn and dezvolt our capacities
always better and better
as a romanian ‘philosophe’ said(acutally he wasn’t philosophe but said some great stuff)-as long the man live it learns(crap sounds beter in romanina but whatever, rhimes aren’t important)

so DO NOT keep it so

If something is flickering, it is because of z fighting, and this is because two textures are too close to each other. Draw a line to connect the two shapes that have the two textures and then erase the line, and the flickering should stop.

tomy I have tried this but its not working for me ..In 3dvia shape everything is OK (not a single surface is flickering but in 3dplayer its disappearing from the view) it makes me feel sad as I am not able to show others the actual look (that only I can see) of this model :(

Yes, z fighting occurs throughout the model, not just on coincidental surfaces. This has been an ongoing challenge to the development team.

Since I view A LOT of models of every week, I run into it constantly. When creating the weekly Top 10 I have to be particularly careful to use the “benefit” to the user’s advantage. You’ll most often see it in scenes with multiple models.

You can save your own screen shots and upload them to a free web album site and then put the link in with your description. Some modelers do this (smike and alfredix come to mind most readily), but it is more work.

I’m wishing the development team good luck as they continue to tackle the situation. :)

i fix them all the time
i can’t suffer them
instead of trying to repair just do the shape again
or usually worked in 2.1-draw a line from the surface(but move the mouse a little until the edges of the material are selected not the bg one) in the interior
however you can de the next thing
select the surface wich is making you problems, press Ctrl+X then Ctrl+V and paste it again in the place it should be needed

oh i see now
is because the revolved shape
well, the texture isn’t behaving too well on this kind of materials
besides,it dissapears repeatetly,as you said
well,at least we know what you meant
