This was modeled after a pre-production pencil sketch of Max’s apartment (of course, from the 1965 TV show Get Smart). It has many details that were not in the final version of the apartment, shown on screen. However, one thing remained the same. Would you believe Max’s apartment had William Morris wallpaper? Watch the episode “Someone Down Here Hates Me” and see it for yourself!
BTW: Please dowload it to look at all the detail—the thumbnail here’s pretty bad.

Fine!
FIne indeed!
Thanks!
Really excellent! I don’t think that Max had such good taste, but your model is really nice! I guess he was just a little envious of Mr. Bond! :D
All of your details really make the difference.
Thanks for the nice comments, dswavely!
You’re welcome – well deserved. Interiors take a lot of work and attention to detail to make them work. :)
I agree. Nevertheless, interiors are one of my favorite things to model.
It would be great to have more of them here on 3DVIA! They would be excellent examples and inspiration for modelers trying to improve their own interior models. :)
Maybe I’ll start a series, entitled, “Rooms from Spy Films”. They’re my favorite genre.
Great idea! Over time we might even be able to do a blog post with some of your tips and tricks for making good interiors?
I’d love that! You’re going to be uploading the post, though, not me, right? Because I’m not allowed to upload blog posts. But if you did it, that would be wonderful!
Yes, I would write the post and you would be able to review it and ask for changes before I published it.
I’m glad you’re interested!
OK, thanks a lot! I really appreciate your taking an interest!
You’re welcome. I’m sure that some 3DVIA members will be looking forward to seeing the results.
