This was created in VRML as a virtual art gallery. When you follow the viewpoint instructions in the VRML browser, you will follow the stairs sideways and upside down. I wanted to make it an experience like being in an Escher painting. You can experience it yourself at http://www.spafon.com/EscherGallery/contact.htm It requires a VRML plug-in like Blaxxun Contact, Cortona, or BS Contact. Zoom in to get the effect.

Great model…VERRRRY CREATIVE! I wish I had an idea for something like this, maybe I’ll come up with one later. I do have a lot of virtual worlds, though, thanks to printscreen which I downloaded just before it was removed from the software page on this site.

Escher’s work is great in so many formats! Thanks for doing this Omind!

@tomy – 3DVIA PrintScreen is still there – go to the software page and then the 3DVIA Labs page. It’s just hiding I guess. :D

Hey I took one quick look at the video on your website, I don’t see what’s so cool about it.

@Tomy. Go to the website in the description. That’s the best way to experience it.
