The Supermarine S6B was designed by Supermarine around 1930 in order to run for the Schneider Trophy.
It reached 625 km/h and won a world record.
Thanks to this plane, the England won the Trophy 3 times, and so, won the Scheinder Cup for ever.

5 stars for you ! Great job ;)
5 Stars from me too! This is a beautiful model of an historic plane. If I remember correctly, what the plane’s designer learned through this series of planes led directly to the WWII Spitfire design.
Wow! Excellent!
I’ll bet pierre would love to have you join his group – http://www.3dvia.com/groups/group_home.php?groupId=B8C89CAE8092A4B6 – and add this model.
Thanks !
I joined your group, thank you for the invite :)
It’s pierre’s group, but I like to see it grow with really good models like yours!
Nice! Supermarine maked the most beautyful planes. Especially the Spitfire.
