The Supermarine S6B was designed by Supermarine around 1930 in order to run for the Schneider Trophy.

It reached 625 km/h and won a world record.

Thanks to this plane, the England won the Trophy 3 times, and so, won the Scheinder Cup for ever.

5 Stars from me too! This is a beautiful model of an historic plane. If I remember correctly, what the plane’s designer learned through this series of planes led directly to the WWII Spitfire design.
