We wanted to go on holiday and were in a traffic jam. At the nearby country road a tandem silently rolled over. Relaxed saw it from the two.

We and others wondered why so many more people to travel. Fast were the lack of weather protection and the low speed of a trip tandems as the main criticisms identified, and not least the fact that the appearance of a normal tandem bicycle with the social status of demanding users compatible. For these and other points soon grew up with a detailed list of requirements.

And we began to think about how well it would be to have this piece of paper with tangible, mobile life to fulfill

The Läufer hybrid bicycle was designed by .ecozentrik GbR, using CATIA. This hybrid bicycle multiplies the strength of the cyclist thanks to an innovative electronic system, which steers an optional electric motor, helping attain a cruise speed of around 40km/hour
