Amazing Work!!!

I can totally understand why you’ve restricted downloads. Thanks anyways for sharing these great models on 3DVIA.

I wish we all could see the complete engine assembly, but going by the size of the models you’ve uploaded so far I wonder would it be possible :(

And are those hand-made sketches done by you on the blog???

Big 5 Stars from me too! Excellent work and the hand sketches on the blog are fabulous. I always like seeing part of the development process!

If you do want to upload the whole engine when you’re done, try doing what alfredix – http://www.3dvia.com/users/alfredix – does; convert everything to STEP format (AP 214 to keep the colors), which significantly reduces the size.

Keep going – I’m enjoying your blog and the models!

@DrSlumper – I’m a little late, but you’re welcome! I’m glad that you feel good to be in the Top 10 – it is always nice to be recognized and appreciated by your friends!

You should send a message to alfredix – http://www.3dvia.com/users/alfredix – with the link – http://www.blogcatalog.com/blog/the-trx-project – to one of your latest blog posts. He is a meticulous modeler, rides bikes and loves LEGO too. I think he would appreciate what you’re doing!

just viewed it again with the 3Dxml viewer which really shows was there is to see. Wondering how you measured this thing still gives me a headache! WIsh there was a section view in the 3Dxml viewer, would be handy in such complex models. There is a problem in the right frame mounting of the head, geometry translation i guess. Congratulations again, let’s keep the project going!
