Unlike most traditional space fighters, the SPSF is equipped with weapons that fire solid rounds as opposed to plasma bolts or lasers, allowing it to penetrate most energy shields and making quick work of under-armored hulls. Protected only by a thin energy-absorbent coating, the SPSF is generally succeptible to other solid fire or powerful energy blasts, but finds safety in numbers.
