Another WIP 3D art project based on the “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Hokusai. I’d like to scallop out the waves on this one. It would also be good to make it stand up and do a real 3D representation.

Very interesting. It’s nice that you have transparency on many of the surfaces to give more of feeling of actually being in the water.
Great job. I am interested in bringing art to 3D life :-) I am working on a Dali painting to the same end. If you have a chance, take a look at a gallery of Escher prints I made in 3D for touring. Needs a plugin (Blaxxun) as it is in VRML.
