This 3d sculpture was made using the Photoshop “New Mesh from Grayscale” function. The idea is that height map is defined by the grayscale color value of each pixel. Then the entire height map (and original 2d image) are “wrapped” into a cylindrical shape.
Pretty cool. My fifth grader really took control of the graphic design, once she saw what it could do.

wow!! it’s made by 5th grader. really very artistic. From inside it looks amazing.
